Qantas’ Sydney–Singapore–London service is the modern incarnation of the Kangaroo Route, linking Australia with Britain for almost 80 years. When the route began in 1947, the journey took four days and seven stops; today, QF1 makes the journey with a single stop in Singapore, aboard an Airbus A380. In a little over a year this route will finally go direct when Qantas launches services onboard their A350-1000 Ultra Long Range aircraft.
