Newark to Nuuk

EWR → GOH

One of United’s more unusual recent routes, connecting Newark with Nuuk, Greenland. Launched in 2025, it was the first-ever nonstop link between the United States and Greenland. NUUK now has a longer runway thus able to welcome bigger aircraft to the Capital of Greenland. This route is what you could aptly call a geopolitical melting pot.
